Back to Blues Heaven here...

Singer and harmonica player ‘Sugar’ Ray Norcia founded ‘The Bluetones’ at the end of the 70’ies. After a break from ‘The Bluetones’, where he played with other famous blues names like Ronnie Earl and Kid Bangham, Sugar Ray returned to ‘The Bluetones’, which resulted in many fine records and soulful blues melodies with his eminent voice and harmonica.
Sugar Ray has a polished and warm quality in his fabulous voice, which is very well suited to the cool, laid-back, and soul inspired blues.
The guitarist ‘Little’ Charlie adds another dimension to the band’s cool, soul inspired jazzy blues. Combined with the rest of the band it sounds as if they are permeated with a really good, powerful Vallein Tercinier brandy, with a long aftertaste calling out for more. When ‘Little’ Charlie makes magic with his guitar, you can clearly hear how close he is to matching great names like Charlie Christian, T-Bone Walker, and B.B. King.
“Sugar Ray is the real deal, there is nobody better to represent this music”
